Job Summary:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will:

  • Find and contact new business customers

  • Qualify leads for the sales team

  • Book sales meetings and demos

  • Attend networking events and tradeshows

  • Support the sales pipeline with high-quality leads

This role is ideal for candidates with B2B sales experience, SDR/BDR experience, or technology sales experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound prospecting (cold calling, email, LinkedIn outreach)

  • Lead generation and lead qualification

  • Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives

  • Attend networking events, industry events, and tradeshows

  • Follow up with leads quickly and professionally

  • Update lead activity in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams


Sales Activity Expectations

  • 50+ outbound sales calls per day

  • 20+ personalized sales emails per day

  • 50+ sales-qualified leads (SQLs) per month

  • 12+ meetings or demos booked per month

  • Weekly networking events and quarterly tradeshows


Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of B2B sales, inside sales, SDR, or BDR experience

  • Experience in technology sales, IT services, SaaS, or MSP is a plus

  • Strong phone, email, and communication skills

  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

  • Comfortable with cold calling and outbound sales

  • Organized, motivated, and goal-oriented

  • Willing to travel locally for meetings and events
