Job Summary:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will:
Find and contact new business customers
Qualify leads for the sales team
Book sales meetings and demos
Attend networking events and tradeshows
Support the sales pipeline with high-quality leads
This role is ideal for candidates with B2B sales experience, SDR/BDR experience, or technology sales experience.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound prospecting (cold calling, email, LinkedIn outreach)
Lead generation and lead qualification
Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives
Attend networking events, industry events, and tradeshows
Follow up with leads quickly and professionally
Update lead activity in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
Work closely with sales and marketing teams
Sales Activity Expectations
50+ outbound sales calls per day
20+ personalized sales emails per day
50+ sales-qualified leads (SQLs) per month
12+ meetings or demos booked per month
Weekly networking events and quarterly tradeshows
Required Qualifications
2–5 years of B2B sales, inside sales, SDR, or BDR experience
Experience in technology sales, IT services, SaaS, or MSP is a plus
Strong phone, email, and communication skills
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
Comfortable with cold calling and outbound sales
Organized, motivated, and goal-oriented
Willing to travel locally for meetings and events
